Faith Bible Church,
The elders continue to meet to pray and discuss the unique challenges that are presented to our church in light of COVID-19. We love you and want to shepherd you. Rest assured, the Lord will lead His people through this! Praise God.
Pray for the FBC elders. We are dependent upon the Lord to provide us with wisdom. We seek to prioritize the worship of God and the fellowship of His people while at the same time setting up reasonable measures that will protect the flock from physical danger.
In-person fellowship is God's design for His people's good and edification (Acts 2:42; Hebrews 10:24-25). We are attempting to honor the intent of the law and to love our neighbors while also obeying God's commands to assemble for corporate worship.
What does a Faith Bible Church worship service look like?
You can attend the Faith Bible Church 10:30 worship service in person. For the foreseeable future, we also offer our Sunday morning worship service via Facebook livestream.

We practice social distancing by sitting in every other pew row. Participants are encouraged to fellowship in the sanctuary or outdoors and not to gather in the hallways or foyer. Mask use is optional, but many of our members do wear one. Hand sanitizer is freely available throughout the sanctuary and in the hallways. A large television has been installed in the Fellowship Hall for those who prefer greater social distancing and mask wearing.
What other activities are happening?
The men meet for their weekly prayer breakfast on Fridays at 6:30 am in the fellowship hall.
Sunday Evening Prayer Fellowship meets in the fellowship hall at 6 pm on the first and third Sundays of each month.
Sunday School for adults and children meets at 9:30 am.
Growth groups meet at homes on the second and fourth Sundays of each month.
If you want additional children's Sunday School material, Ranger Joe can help parents teach weekly Bible lessons at home at a level children can understand and enjoy. Linkable worship songs and printable activities are included. This resource is made available through the publisher of our children's curriculum. You can access the lessons by clicking on the graphic below.
Is the office open? What if I need help?
Pastor Kyle and the administrative assistant, Laura, are in the office Tuesday - Friday. Call 785-823-9138 if you need to reach either person.
If you need to stay home or feel ill, Faith Bible Church has many members willing to run errands for you or pick up needed items at the store. Or perhaps you are aware of a physical or spiritual need within the church or the Salina community. Email the church office at firstname.lastname@example.org or one of the elders. For the email addresses of these men, go to the About tab on the main page and scroll down to the Leadership and Staff tab.
What about the future?
We are going to continue to monitor and evaluate the information that is made available. We will utilize local and national governing authorities, medical doctors within our church, members, and other local churches for guidance and counsel. We will keep you informed. There are unique ministry opportunities in these days. This is a time for believers in the Lord Jesus Christ to showcase their love for one another and their love for the lost! (John 17:21)
Now may the Lord of peace Himself grant you peace in every circumstance. The Lord be with you all! (2 Thessalonians 3:16)
